This is a single blade ventilator powered on in a compressed space sound. I made this sound with wind and alot of editing. Its all free enjoy.

A recording of my bathroom ventilation fan shutters clicking in the breeze. The fan is not on so you can hear birds in the distance, and the wind in the tube-shaped fan chamber. When the wind blows it catches the plastic shutters and they rattle and click. Recorded very close to the fan with two dynamic microphones, there is virtually no bathroom ambience detectable. I'd be intrerested to know what this could be used for!.

Weird wind sound.

Basement floor ambience with occasional footsteps sounds. Recorded via tascam dr-100 mk ii.

An elderly bathroom extractor fan is switched on with the lights, left running, switched off and eventually cuts out automatically. Its bearings might be about to pack up, or there's something catching the blades, or both! the start was surprisingly noisy so the file has been hard limited to -1db. Recorded with a sony pcm-m10.

This is the hum of an old freezer running. The microphone (galaxy s9) was placed inside and the door shut.

I tested ho effective the idea in http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/viewtopic. Php?p=24663#24663 is and used a splatter guard to keep the wshwshwshwhshwww away from my zoom h2public domain/cc0 like most of my sounds.

My bathroom fan is humming while operating. As you might hear, the fan is full of dust and dirt, so it does this "unround" noisy humming. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. An ambient, white noise wall of sound recorded as i walked through our well ventilated university print shop. You can hear a variety of machine noises that layer to create a constant hum, with a swelling rise and fall like occasional waves. Some of the vents whistle, some tick or click and purr. Near the very end, there is a single sharp click. The ventilation system is an anti-fume tube series used for printmaking. Recorded on a microtrack ii. General information: recorded indoors on handheld microtrack while walking from room to room. No noticeable footstep sounds. No voices. Room has high ceilings and cement floors.

It's a sound of a polish carrefour crowded supermarket (złote tarasy, warsaw, poland). There are ventilation fans audible, people's footsteps, cash registers beeping, shopping baskets, unified queue automated director speaking "kasa numer 6, kasa numer 10" etc. Recorded with zoom h2.
